BS is a Minnesota guy who works out of his house doing
something with investments (money laundering). Plays a
Gibson B-45-12, 2 Hoffman twelves, a Martin, and a 1969 Les
Paul Custom.
BS's claim to fame is he listened to
Kottke play in the old day's at The Scholar (where 12
String Blues was recorded) and at the Student Union on
the college campus. Also tells the story of Kottke bringing
in a guitar for some work to a local luthier. Seems LK had
drilled holes in the thing - just to see how it would sound.
Just pulled out the old Craftsman and let her rip.
He's also one of those crazy Yanks
that lived for awhile in London -and get this, he actually
claims to have liked the food (in case you're wondering,
that's what's called a "Pig Cheap-shot". Gotta take em' when
you can - it's in the rules!).
